In 2014 I was contacted by 2and2 to create Pixel Art characters for Campus Quest, an interactive information guide for studying at Curtin University and adapting to University life.

For this project I created numerous portraits for the game's non-player characters, ranging from an untidy housemate to administration staff. I was provided with descriptions of each character including ethnicity, clothing, hair and eye colour. I also produced blink animations and four expressions for each character; neutral, happy, sad, angry.

 

In addition, I created various pixel character assets for the character generator that a player creates their own avatar in.

2and2 combined Pixel Art with 3D environments to create a colourful and endearing approach to figuring out University life - check it out for yourself!
